And I don't like writing. So my writing may not be the best. Sorry ;)

1) How do you feel about the process during the week?
We started our week with an introduction to ‘chaos’ and
finding the ‘sweet spot’. I have heard much about working in ‘chaos’ and I was
initially very hesitated about this mode of working. Coming from a more
traditional way of learning from my Economics major, I am used to a structured
way of learning and working. We start every course with a syllabus and a
timetable. We know exactly what and when is going to happen. I am surprised
that I actually felt good with this journey that we are going to take on this
summer even we still have so many uncertainties and unknown possibility. With
the flexibility of this project, we have freedom to explore and work our way in
this project.
We were also told to trust the process. It was very
fascinating that I came out with more questions than I had before I went to
work. And I think this is the ‘process’ that motivates me to work every day. Process
for me is something that is never ending and ever changing, is also to
challenge yourself and to never be satisfied with what you think you already
know.
2) Have you felt that you have been learning?
Short Answer is yes! Definitely. (If you don't feel like
reading the rest of it ;)
I think I have learned the most from the people in the
group. All the different cultures amused me and gave me energy. This is a very
rare and extraordinary opportunity to be exposed to such a wide variety of
cultures, backgrounds, and people. Everyone who is selected in this group is so
talented and special in so many different ways. Living with a diverse group
helped me to discover the skills in which I lack, and I discovered our
potential and the many routes that we can take to self- improvement. I also
gain the ability to convince and persuade others by better understanding and
knowing them coming all these different cultures. The differences in
backgrounds as well as our different opinions on righteousness also make it a
challenge to live in a different culture, especially when controversial issues
arise. I got challenged to evaluate what I believe in, and to justify that to
myself. But that is exactly how we learn and grow.
For all of us,
For all of us,
